Is it wrong to ask a question that I wanted a different answer for?

Ethylene glycol is a slow and very painful death from kidney failure. Other poisonings cause horrible seizures, cramping, bleeding from everywhere, and terrible pain. If you shoot the cats with good aim and hit them in the brain, it will be a much more humane and rapid death. Your vet and your neighbors are right. Poison is the cruelest way to kill them (well, drowning kittens is pretty bad too). Please get a gun and practice with it.
