Would the mold be from the flood? Or condensation?

Our ground floor bedroom was flooded about a year ago, the landlord hired professional cleaners to dry the carpet, the carpet and underlay was never removed from the cement floor, wardrobes and bed were never moved, they said it would be fine. Now however there is a very mouldy smell in the room and mold appearing inside drawers, on the corner walls beside the skirting boards, on bottom of furniture. This has got to the point we can't sleep in the room as it makes us feel ill, headaches, sore joints, watery eyes, our son has also been ill a lot with sore throats. The landlord is saying we are at fault as it's condensation that's causing the problem, although we open windows to try get rid of the smell, then we find the room smells worse when we close the windows after airing the room, also no mold on the windows.... We want out of here now, but landlord wants a years rent as he's saying it's out fault.... Would the mold be from the flood??? Or condensation????
