I have bed bugs , moving out, how do i make sure i do not carry them with me?

I'm 18 a.d I'm moving in with my dad because at my moms we are fighting bed bugs and have been for four months and they won't go away . Their lease isn't up until October but I am moving in with my dad and I need to make sure I.don't bring them with me so ok not bringing my furniture or sheets only my clothes and such and I'm going to wash them tight before I leave . Should this do it.?
