How do you catch a mouse with sticky trap?

This little mouse is freakin smart. We placed 4 sticky traps against the wall in hallways it usually travels. Now its got a new route! Like wtfreak?? This mouse is pretty smart. Any ways I can fool him?? Its driving me crazy!! I don't want this vermin to destroy my property. How do I fool it into walking into this trap?? PLEASE HELP!!!
