Why do people who don't have braces say they are "blessed with perfect teeth"?

I have noticed A lot of people who don't have braces say annoying things like "I have perfect teeth :)" "I have the gift of straight teeth and will never had to be a metal mouth" The thing is alot these people saying these things don't have perfect teeth. Not saying their a maze or anything just saying their teeth aren't really straight.
