What color to paint my walls.. NEED HELP?

ive resently started to redo my room and i need to figure out a good color to paint..and if todo strips or not to. i have dark wood furniture dark wood dark wood floors. and the bedding is blue/silver striped with brown. plz help me pick colors. and if to do stripes or not.
